Shine Your Way Support Group celebrates festive season windfall

For the past two decades Kingston Lodge has held a Monster Raffle raising funds to support local community groups.

Shine Your Way Support Group, a disability support provider operating in Kingston and surrounding district, was the recipient of the 2023 raffle proceeds.

Director Lisa Bawden said Shine Your Way Support Group would use the newly received funds to support individuals with a disability and the families of the individuals as well.

This year Shine Your Way established a netball team for people of all abilities and genders to enjoy the sport.

The S Squad team held matches during the year and Lisa’s aim it to take the team to Adelaide to see the Thunderbirds play and meet the players.

This year 700 tickets were sold with seven opportunities to win prizes ranging from a quarter side of beef, whole lamb to poultry prizes.

Kingston Lodge member and major sponsor W. Bro John Ratcliff drew the winning tickets at the Kingston Lodge family barbeque at Mount Benson winery Wangolina.
