2-4-2 competition returns to the Millicent greens

After cancelling the 2-4-2 competiton at the Millicent Bowls Club the previous week due to very inclement weather, last week 29 players went out to play in perfect conditions.

Before going onto the greens, players were reminded of the Ladies’ and Men’s Pairs to be played on Sunday , November 20, and were asked to please put a team together if they had not already done so.

The team winning 2-4-2 competition today went to Jim Campbell and Neil Whelan with a score of 34+27 shots up. Runners up for the day went to Derek Bowering and David Reichelt with a score of 33+13.

Other winning teams for the day were, John Madden, John Scudds 33+6. Malcolm Wright, Peter Scanlon 32+11. Peter Varcoe, Frank Cooper 31+12. Graham Loveday, Kym Stewart 31+2 and Ian Ross, Steve Carnellor 29+3.
