Celebrations all round at soccer carnival
Three teams, representing Millicent, Mount Gambier and Adelaide, battled it out over seven matches, at the 2024 All Abilities Soccer Carnival on April 13.
Adelaide Independence won the one day carnival, which was made possible by major sponsor Axis Employment, including manager Karren Owen , assistant manager Lee Green and Michael Naismith.
Volunteer power was also critical with Bill Stephenson stepping up as carnival referee and Blue Lake Rangers Soccer Club providing the venue and facilities.
There was also extra support provided by the City of Mount Gambier, the Limestone Coast Football Association, Millicent Soccer Club and Steeline Mt Gambier.
It was a wonderful display of skills, sportsmanship, and camaraderie shown all day.
The Axis Employment Limestone Cup was presented by City of Mount Gambier Lynette Martin OAM.
Three individual trophies were awarded:
Limestone Coast Star Player – Paul
Limestone Cup Goalie – Holly
Limestone Cup Encouragement Award – Reegan
