Cold conditions for 2-4-2

Last week, once again 32 players braved the cold wind to play 20 ends of lawn bowls at the Millicent Bowls Club.

The team with the best score of 34+18 this week, was the team of John Drew and Peter Varcoe taking home the prize pool of $32.00 each. Second place went to the team of Terry Barnes and Neil Whelan with a score of 34+11 and winning the $5.00 bar voucher.

Other winning teams were, Ros Varcoe, Peter Bateman 31+5. Ian Michell, Derrick Lindh 30+4. Graham Loveday, Terry Lonergan 30+4. Ian Ross, Eddie Hann 29+5. Derek Bowering, John Buhlmann 29+3 and Malcolm Wright, Aaron Emonson 29+1.

The KCA Open Men’s Fours is the next major competition to be held on November 5 starting at 10am. All players are requested to bring their own lunch.
