Early start for Attamurra ladies
A depleted field of 22 ladies competed in the 3rd Round of the Summer Salver on February 12 due to the very hot weather, with te course closed from 9am.
Only one division was played because of the small field and the Winner was Janina Morrison (Handicap 17) registering a great score of 4 up, 3 up front nine and 1 up back nine.
Janina had a genuine 89 off the stick and also her scorecard included seven wins and three losses.
The handicapper will be adjusting her handicap before taking to the course again.
Runner-Up was Jennifer Van Rijthoven (Handicap 10) with a very consistent square on both nines, including a birdie on the 18th Par 4 Hole.
Three balls were won by Lizzie Clements, Penne Saffin and Jess Parsons all 1 down.
Pro Shot on the Par 3 8th Hole was won by Deb Fowler, while the 2nd Shot went to A Grade – Janina Morrison, B Grade – Vicki Clark and C Grade – Deb Sheather.
Due to the very hot weather a par round replaced the stroke round with the schedule to be reconfigured going forward.
