JOCK Goodyer rounded out a stunning 2025/26 season, adding another Borderline Speedway victory to his impressive list of accolades taking out Night 2 of the 206 Easter Sprintcar Trail before taking the series with a win the following night at Warrnambool’s Premier Speedway.
Having claimed the national title earlier this year at the Borderline, Goodyer again showed his affinity for the Glenburnie track with a Saturday night Easter Sprintcar Trail victory as the local speedway season wrapped up in style.
Pre-event predictions from president Cary Jennings correctly identified the eventual podium as the key contenders for the title with Goodyer beating out popular ‘local’ James McFadden and Brock Hallett.
The season might have officially ended but Borderline Speedway volunteers were back in action on Easter Sunday, dismantling the fencing and gates ready for the excavator to come and pull out all the concrete from the walls as the facility looks to upgrade but just the new concrete and fences but also LED lights, a new Judges box and another corporate box.
