Justin returns from holidays to earn victory

Lucindale Golf Club ladies go head-to-head for Menz Harvesting sponsored Monthly Medal

Last week 19 ladies played in the Lucindale October Monthly Medal kindly sponsored by Menz Harvesting.

Sharon presented the prizes on behalf of her family and all winners, including NTP, were grateful for the thoughtful and generous prizes.

The Menz family ongoing support is really appreciated.

It was wonderful having Sally Clarke and Angela Malpas back playing golf and we were thrilled Audrey Brooker was able to join in for another sumptuous monthly smorgasbord.

Monthly Medal and A Grade nett winner with 66 and A Grade gross winner with 83, was the recently returned from holidays Michelle Justin.

Michelle played consistently well, her precision drive on the 3rd resulted in her being NTP winner and she also won A Grade putting.

A Grade runner up was Rachel Smith with her fabulous nett 67, generally a good winning score. B Grade nett winner was Fionna McInnes with 75 and Julie Wilks runner up with 78 on a countback from Wendy Johnson.

Petrina Smith won B Grade putting competition with merely 28 putts (2 ferrets) and she also was NTP winner on the 16th, Rosie Legoe was NTP on the 3rd.

Lucindale ladies are really looking forward to their end of year social gathering staying at Robe on October 13.

After a social round of golf with Robe players, there will be dinner at The Caledonian Inn on the Friday and then a fun golf round at Hatherleigh’s par 3 course the next day. Please note the Lucindale Country Club AGM will be held on Tuesday, October 31.

This week’s competition is a stableford round sponsored by the Laundry Hub.
