Kent finishes runner up
THE Lower South East Hockey Association’s Alison Shephard, has taken out the Hookin2Hockey Coordinator of the Year: South Australia.
Alison secured the award based on the past two years, where she has dedicated herself to providing an exceptional experience for every participant in the program.
Her participant-first approach, flexible model, and constant drive to support kids at all skill levels have made a huge impact in Mount Gambier and surrounding areas.
Alison’s hard work has also led to the creation of new programs and the introduction of age-appropriate groups, ensuring that every child can thrive and enjoy hockey to the fullest. She credits the success of the program to the incredible volunteers and the local hockey community who support her every step of the way.
As a token of appreciation, Alison will receive a Just Hockey voucher and a plaque, recognising her outstanding contributions to the growth of hockey in the region.
