Tantanoola leader continues to punch above his weight

Lifelong Tiger Braydn Reilly ran out for his 250th senior gameTantanoola’s game against Glencoe.

‘Reilz’ started playing in the junior colts in the early 2000s progressing through the grades and in 2006 he was a part of the victorious Senior Colts premiership team.

That year he won the club and league leading goal kicker, also getting his first taste of A grade footy under then coach Adam Walden.

In 2007 he was again Tant’s Senior Colts leading goal kicker and was a part of the A grade losing grand final team against Glencoe.

His best footy was in front of him and over the next decade he was to play some very consistent footy, many seasons as Captain or Vice

Captain, with numerous honors which include:

• 2008 A grade Most Improved.
• 2009/10 A grade Neil Von Duve Best Team Man.
• 2013 A grade Coaches trophy.
• 2014 A grade Most Consistent.
• 2017 A grade Best Utility
• 2018 A grade

• 2019 A grade Best Team Man.

Most Consistent and John Rogers Anzac Day medal for best on ground against Kongorong.

Reilz is a ultra consistent player has always taken on the big tasks and often plays on much bigger opponents but loves the challenge and always puts the teams interests before his own. Like a bottle of fine wine he keeps getting better with age and still shoulders the ruck work for the most of the game and helps lead our young playing list.

The Tantanoola Football Club hopes he can reach the magical 300 in the coming years.

He celebrated alongside wife Kath and children Bella and Ruby as well as his family and friends.
