Magnificent Millicent golfers

On November 6, the Millicent Golf Club had 20 women play a 4-person 9 Hole Ambrose competition off the blue tees. followed by the season trophy winner presentation.

The Ambrose winners were Lana Barlow, Bronwyn Clarke, Lyn Watson and Janet Watson (nett 27.68).

A highlight of the trophy presentation was Glenis Skeer’s claiming of the Heather Walker Memorial Trophy.

After 25 years of the award, Heather’s daughter Mardi Wight, who was also the inaugural winner of the award, was on hand to present the trophy to the final winner of the award – Glenis (pictured below right with Mardi).
