Making her mark on the national stage
RISING cycling star Molly Opperman delivered a stellar performance at the 2025 AusCycling Junior Track Nationals in Brisbane late last month, securing podium finishes and showcasing remarkable determination.
Competing in four events, Opperman finished 5th in the sprint, claimed bronze in the 500m time trial, and took silver in the Keirin, demonstrating her speed and skill against Australia’s best junior riders.
Her resilience was on full display in the points race, where she suffered a crash but showed incredible grit by getting back on her bike to complete the event. Opperman expressed her gratitude to her coaches and the Limestone Coast Regional Sporting Academy for their ongoing support in her cycling journey.
