Michelle Justin takes out stableford
LAST week’s Lucindale Country Club stableford competition was generously sponsored by Brad’s Building, club members grateful for Brad Maloney’s sponsorship again this season, with all winners were thrilled to receive vouchers as their prizes.
Despite many of the club regulars away on holidays, 14 ladies enjoyed the ideal conditions and well-prepared course which offered great run of the ball.
The A Grade winner was Michelle Justin with 37points and runner up was Megs Watson who played to her handicap.
B Grade winner, with 32 points, was Rosie Legoe on a countback from Kerry Gilkes.
Nearest to the Pin on the 3rd and the 16th (A Grade) was won by Nicole Hocking, stick selection and accuracy resulted in being merely a couple of metres away from the hole on both occasions.
Karena Higgins was NTP on the 12th, another precision drive & Rosie Legoe was B Grade NTP on the 16th hole.
Then club was also grateful to the members who volunteered their time during the two days of the Lucindale Field Days in various capacities.
Catering convenor Sally Clarke and her helpers provided for a breakfast as well as a lunch on the Friday of the Field Days, while bar manager Cheryl Fitzgerald also lent a hand.
