Mount Gambier RSL team wins Port MacDonnell Open Men’s Fours

Port MacDonnell Bowling Club held its first Open Mens Fours earlier this month with teams from Millicent, Mount Gambier, Mount Gambier RSL, Dartmoor, Penola and Port MacDonnell. They day was Sponsored by OG Roberts/O’Connor & Graney/Key2 Sale and the Port MacDonnell Store.

Three games were played with one game of 14 ends before lunch and two games of nine ends after lunch.

Winners, from Mount Gambier RSL, on 110 points, were Dean Wilkinson (sk),Robert Corner, Ron Ploenges, Graham Dent Second, also from Mount Gambier RSL, Gary Feast(sk), Graham Ellis, Ralph Stafford, John Schroder. on 108 points and third was a combinaton team from Millicent, Robe and Mt Gambier RSL, of Kym Stewart (sk), Strawb Masters, Dean Burgoyne and Ian MacIntosh, with 78 points.
