President takes on captain at Mount Gambier
THE Mount Gambier Golf Club ladies competed in a stableford competition as part of the President v Captain’s Day sponsored by Betty McKechnie at the weekend.
It was another perfect day for golf with the course looking great with thanks green staff and many volunteers.
As the players booked in to play they were allocated to either team for the day and it was President Janina Morrison’s team that held sway this year.
RESULTS:
Division 1:Winner – Denise Harvey with 38 points
Runner Up – Trudy Johnson with 36 points.
The front 9 was obviously the easiest on the day for these two players with Denise scoring 22 points including four pars and Trudy scoring five pars with 20 points.
Division 2:Winner – Sue Ryan with 37 points
Runner Up – Debbie Sheather with 33 points.
It was a great battle between these two sisters with both scoring well on the front 9 holes.
Pro Shot on the 8th was won by Kathy Ewer.

The Ball Run down went to 32 points.

Twenty-three ladies played in the Stableford Competition sponsored by Nutrien Ag.

Winner: Dianne O’Donnell with 36 points on a countback.
Runner Up: Helen Heaver 36 points.

NTP 16th Camilla Knowles
Ball run down up to 30 points.
