Quality performer on & off the court

NANGWARRY Netball Club stalwart Tamara Ploenges celebrated her 300th senior game as a Saint at the weekend.

Tamara has been a loyal and passionate member of our club throughout her entire netball career.

Beginning in the junior ranks, she has progressed through to the senior sides, playing the majority of her games in the A Reserve team.

Over the years, she has been a consistent and valued contributor on court, earning numerous Best and Fairest and Runner Up awards along the way.

Off the court, Tamara’s dedication to the club is just as inspiring.

She has served in many key roles on the Netball Committee, including president and assistant secretary, and has coached both senior and junior teams.

For the past few seasons, she has taken on the role of A Reserve coach, all while regularly umpiring and supporting the club wherever needed.

Tamara is a passionate player, leader, and community member.

She truly bleeds red, black and white.

In addition to her netball commitments, she is also an active member of the football committee and has been instrumental in the ongoing rebuilding efforts of both the netball and football clubs.

Tamara’s love for the club runs in the family – with three of her four children playing football for Nangwarry and now her daughter proudly joining the Junior 1 netball team this season.
