Twenty-one lady golfers played the difficult Par Round last Saturday in perfect weather with fast greens and fairways which allowed good scoring.

Relatively new members took out the honours with first place going to Janine Reid (Handicap 38) playing three strokes under her handicap. Janine’s score consisted of 1up front nine/2up back nine = 3 Up.

She had a par on the Par 3, 6th Hole.

Sara McManus (Handicap 39) took out second place for the day’s event with 1 up.

Sara’s score consisted of 1 down front nine and 2 up on the difficult back nine = 1 up.

Sharran Waters came third with 1 up also, losing the countback due to the fact that Sara had a better back nine. Sharran’s split for the two nines was 3 up/2 Down = 1 up.
