Social bowls returns to greens

The fortnightly Sunday social bowls saw 30 players take part in the 2-4-2 game at the Millicent Bowls Club. After the completion of the game, members enjoyed a sausage sizzle before the winners were announced.

The winning pair for the day were Terry Barnes and Rod Gibbs with a score of 31+27, in second place with a score of 29+14 were Alan Correll and Aaron Emonson.

Other winning teams for the day were, Lurlene Reinders, Kym Stewart 29+12. Denis Clifford, Andre Reinders 29+5. Del Parsons, Peter Varcoe 28+2. Jim Taylor, Mary Clifford and Malcolm Wright 28+2. Ian Nitschke, Wayne Ross 17+0 drew with Graham Parsons and Iain Campbell 19+0.

The next Social Sunday bowls day is scheduled this Sunday.
