South East Golf Veterans tackle the Bordertown course with the local Bishop getting it done
On a bleak rainy South East day earlier this month, only 31 South East Golf Veteran players headed off north to Bordertown, where unsurprisingly, they found that the sun was shining and they had an enjoyable day on the composite course. The greens were fast and true and 41 points was Kingston’s Brian Prosser score to take out Division 1 from local Tony Bishop on 39 and Alan Schultz 37. Division 2 saw Max Clifford end a long losing streak with his 37 points from Graham Pilgrim 35 and Kenny Milsop 33. NTPs were Col Wright, Graham Pilgrim and Rob Perryman with the Ross Orchard Trophy going to David Douglas and Rob Sims. Interested admirers can find photos and more on our Facebook site – LSE Vet Golfers. Our next visit is Lucindale on July 3 then Millicent on July 17 and Robe on July 31.
