South East golfers shine at State event

Last Friday, a team of three Lucindale ladies played at the Royal Adelaide Golf Club and won the coveted ‘Rose Bowl’, an annual competition that is open to city and country lady golfers.

Huge congratulations to Nicole Hocking, Isobel Carracher and Megan Watson for winning the combined stableford event with a total of 107 and very well done to the Bordertown team who were runners up on 102.

Further accolades to Nicole for winning the Silver Division with her fantastic 37 points, Isobel was runner up in the Bronze Division with an amazing 36 points and Megan was NTP winner.

The Lucindale club is also very proud of Karena Higgins and Jacki Baker who also represented the club at Glenelg Golf Club in the ‘Governor’s Cup’.

Karena and Jacki also had very respectable scores of 36 & 34 points; with Karena having the best score amongst the lady golfers.
