South East squad named for Country Championships

The South East Men’s Zone Squad will compete at the 2025 SA Country Championships in Port Pirie in July.

The South East Men’s Zone Squad has been announced ahead of the 2025 South Australian Country Football Championships, to be held in Port Pirie on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 July.

Players from the Kowree Naracoorte Tatiara Football League, Limestone Coast Football Netball League, and Mid South Eastern Football League have been included in the extended squad.

The team will be coached by Jack Kelly, with assistance from Zac Richards (KNTFL) and Daron McElroy (LCFNL). Final selections will be made by the coaching staff along with selectors Peter Mitchell (MSEFL) and Scott Duncan. A final squad of 24 will be chosen, including at least two under-21 players.

Training sessions will be held in Naracoorte on Sunday 6 July at 11am and Wednesday 10 July at 6.30pm.
