Twelve Mount Gambier Cycling Club juniors showcased their talents at the recent 2024 Auscycling SA State Track Titles held at the Superdrome, returning with some strong results on the State stage. These junior riders are now sweating on State selection and subsequent preparations for the national championships in Brisbane next March.

Molly Opperman, Xavier Farmillo, Niel van Niekerk, Jami Buckley and Kai Arbery all returned home with medals from the track titles, while many of the 12 riders were also involved in successful team events.

The young cyclists competed in events including the 200m, 500m, time trial, individual pursuit, as well as engaging in team-based competitions like the teams time trial and teams pursuit.
