South Indians travelled to Millicent in a much anticipated game.<\/p>\n
Batting first the Indians scored three after lead off batter Ryan Whitwell Texas Leaguered to left field, Jett Lewis was hit by the pitcher and Ryan Placucci drew a walk, loading the bases.<\/p>\n
Whitwell scored on a wild pitch and Ryan Walter also drew a walk again loading the bases.<\/p>\n
Linkon Ratcliffe\u2019s safety to centerfield batted in Lewis and Placucci was batted in by Ben Nash before side away.<\/p>\n
Millicent returned with two of their own when Jordan Johnson found himself at first after an error by the pitcher and Anthony Mutton singled to rightfield.<\/p>\n
Johnson scored on Jack Hately\u2019s hit into an out then Saxon Altschwager batted in Mutton. In the top of the third Ben Nash on board after an error at second base and he was batted home by Brent Masterman\u2019s single to centerfield.<\/p>\n
The Bandits replied with another as Anthony Mutton picked a walk and was batted in by Nick Cory\u2019s hit into an infield error.<\/p>\n
Two more runs for South in the fourth when Wade Chant was hit by the pitcher and Jett Lewis slapped a ball out to leftfield.<\/p>\n
Chant and Lewis both crossed home on Ryan Placucci\u2019s double to deep centerfield and South now had a handy lead 6-3.<\/p>\n
The bottom of the sixth saw the Bandits level the game when Jordan Johnson was hit by a pitched ball, Anthony Mutton onboard from a fielder\u2019s choice, Jack Hately crunched the ball to centerfield which Johnson took advantage of and scored from second, Saxon Altschwager then hit to short stop and with the pressure created a wild throw which scored both Mutton and Hately.<\/p>\n
The Red and White pulled ahead in the seventh when Ryan Walter found his way to first after a wild throw and Ben Nash singled to rightfield.<\/p>\n
Walter scored on an infield error and Nash rushed home on Brent Masterman\u2019s second single base hit.<\/p>\n
Millicent went ahead in their turn at bat scoring what should have been a winning five runs. Dave Langley was hit by the pitcher, Cameron Harris picked a walk and Josh Vanderhorst at first on a fielder\u2019s choice.<\/p>\n
Now two out and with bases loaded Jordan Johnson picked a walk pushing Langley across the plate.<\/p>\n
Anthony Mutton also on from a fielder\u2019s choice, Jack Hateley\u2019s flyball to centerfield was grassed enabling Johnson and Mutton to cross the home plate.<\/p>\n
The Blue and White\u2019s fifth run for the dig was an anti-climax when Hately scored on a passed ball.<\/p>\n
Millicent now led 11-8. South weren\u2019t done as Jett Lewis was thrown a base on ball, Ryan Placucci was hit by the pitcher, Ryan Walter\u2019s single to centerfield scored Lewis, Linkon Ratcliffe\u2019s single also to centrefield scored Placucci and finally Walter crossed, batted in by Brett Masterman.<\/p>\n
Millicent was unable to score in the even eighth and with three hours played, time and game was called the game ending in an eleven all draw.<\/p>\n
South had 11 safe hits, 3 base on ball, 4 hit batters 9 runs batted in, 9 strikeouts and they made 5 errors. Millicent had 8 safe hits, 5 base on ball, 2 hit batters, 8 runs batted in,7 strikeouts and made 5 errors.<\/p>\n
Central Magpies leadoff batter Mitchell Ruwoldt hit a huge three bagger to start the game between them and Tigers and was batted in by Brad Lynagh.<\/p>\n
For Tigers in the bottom of the first, Riley Parsons picked a walk and crossed home on Matt Thompson\u2019s hit into an error at third.<\/p>\n
Top of the second and Jordan Carrison was hit by the pitcher and after stealing two bases scored on error at third base after a throw from the catcher.<\/p>\n
Mitchell Ruwoldt was thrown a walk, and he scored on Brad Lynagh\u2019s safety to shortstop.<\/p>\n
The Black and Orange tied the game in the bottom of the third. Riley Parsons picked his second consecutive walk as did Jake England.<\/p>\n
They were both batted in when Pat Kermond smashed a hit to left centerfield.<\/p>\n
Central added two more in the fourth.<\/p>\n
With two out Sam Ruwoldt clobbered one to centerfield, Mitch Cutting drew a base on ball and Jake Turner batted them home with his long ball to leftfield.<\/p>\n
They added an additional run in the very next dig when Joraan Carrison crunched a hit to rightfield and scored on Liam McDonald\u2019s infield hit into a fielder\u2019s choice.<\/p>\n
Tigers pulled that run back in the even sixth when with two out, Riley Parsons slammed the pitch to leftfield and crossed the home plate when Cooper Pitkin\u2019s hit to shortstop resulted in a wild throw and the Magpies led 6-4.<\/p>\n
They added a bonus run in the ninth when Mitch Cutting\u2019s Texas Leaguer to leftfield landed safely and he was batted in by Blade Sturge\u2019s double also to leftfield.<\/p>\n
Tigers had the opportunity to score in the even inning, but the young Magpies were up to the task giving them a 7-4 win.<\/p>\n
Central Magpies had 12 safe hits, 4 walks, 2 hit batters, 6 runs batted in, 9 strikeouts and made 5 errors, Tigers had 6 safe hits, 5 walks, 4 hit batters, 2 runs batted in, 7 strikeouts and made 5 errors.<\/p>\n
