Three funding opportunities are now open to community members through Naracoorte Lucindale Council.<\/p>\n

Community Budget Submissions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s time to put forward your ideas to help shape the Council\u2019s 2025-2026 Budget.<\/p>\n

Community budget submissions are invited until 5pm on Friday, February 28.<\/p>\n

Requests can be for community projects and sponsorships that fall outside of council\u2019s existing Community Chest program.<\/p>\n

Community Chest:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nominations are still open for Council\u2019s popular Community Chest program.<\/p>\n

Community Chest aims to encourage, develop and support community and sporting groups to increase usage of local facilities, foster development of community services, activities and events, providing opportunities for community participation and benefitting residents of Naracoorte Lucindale Council.<\/p>\n

Grants are generally restricted to a maximum of $3000 with a preferred 50 per cent contribution from the applicant.<\/p>\n

The guidelines and application form are available from the council offices and on the website at https:\/\/bit.ly\/nlccommchest<\/a><\/p>\n

Applications will close at 5pm on Friday, February 21.<\/p>\n

Community Art Fund<\/p>\n

Do you have some community art ideas to enrich the cultural identity of our local area?<\/p>\n

Council\u2019s Community Art Fund is now open and will close on Saturday, March 15.<\/p>\n

There is up to $10,000 available for public art projects and placemaking activities that create a sense of identity.<\/p>\n
