February brings with it your chance to have a say on Glenelg Shire Council\u2019s annual budget,<\/p>\n
For the 2025-26 Budget, Glenelg Shire Council would like to understand which services that they deliver are important to you, and important for the community.<\/p>\n
Council is holding community engagement sessions around the shire in Heywood, Portland (already completed), Nelson, Dartmoor and Casterton this month and want to hear from you to find out which services matter to you and the community.<\/p>\n
This information will help council plan for the future.<\/p>\n

Glenelg Shire Mayor Karen Stephens said the annual Budget consultation process was an opportunity for residents to let us know where our spending priorities should be.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs always as councillors \u2013 if we don\u2019t know about it, we can\u2019t consider it,\u201d Cr Stephens said. \u201cIt\u2019s a great opportunity for you to have your say either by attending one of the community sessions or by writing to us \u2013 either way we want to hear your thoughts.\u201d<\/p>\n
