{"id":13828,"date":"2025-05-14T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-05-13T18:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/mtgambiertimes\/?p=13828"},"modified":"2025-05-07T14:46:57","modified_gmt":"2025-05-07T04:46:57","slug":"support-for-small-business-on-the-calendar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/mtgambiertimes\/news\/support-for-small-business-on-the-calendar\/","title":{"rendered":"Support for small business on the calendar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THE South Australian Government is bringing back Small Business Week for 2025 with an exciting program designed to support South Australia\u2019s small businesses.<\/p>\n<p>Small Business Week is a dedicated week of in-person events and online resources designed to assist the state\u2019s 160,000 small businesses with new ideas and opportunities delivered by the Office for Small and Family Business.<\/p>\n<p>The program will be delivered from 22 -26 of September across Adelaide and regional areas, covering topics that focus on growing business capability, navigating the digital environment, boosting sustainability and providing support with workforce planning and exporting.<\/p>\n<p>South Australian Small Business and Family Minister Andrea Michaels said the full program will be revealed in the coming months.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSmall businesses are the heartbeat of our economy, and the backbone of communities right across our state,\u201d Minister Michaels said. \u201cWhen our small businesses thrive, South Australia thrives. There are 160,000 small businesses across South Australia, each passionately serving their communities and employing thousands of South Australians.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSmall Business Week is an opportunity for small business owners to set aside some time to work on their business, to learn something new, and connect with others. Whether you are starting up your own business, growing your operations or embarking on your export journey, Small Business Week will provide resources and insights to strengthen your capability, and build your confidence and resilience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Small Business Week is one of 20 key initiatives in the State Government\u2019s landmark $14 million Small Business Strategy, all of which are now underway and supporting small businesses across the state to access new programs including mentoring and training in business fundamentals, marketing, succession planning and cyber security.<\/p>\n<p>Last year\u2019s Small Business Week attracted more than 1400 registrations for events across Adelaide and regional areas.
