THE Coonawarra wine community is celebrating the success of Hannah Timms, who has been selected as one of only 12 participants across South Australia to receive a scholarship to the new Art and Science of Sustainable Wine Business and Tourism Executive Program.<\/p>\n
Delivered by the Adelaide Business School at the University of Adelaide, the six-day program is part of the Great Wine Capitals Global Network initiative, supporting future-focused business development in the wine and tourism sectors.<\/p>\n
Participants will gain expert insights into branding, innovation, digital communications, and visitor experience design, with a strong emphasis on sustainable growth in regional areas.<\/p>\n
Timms, a seasoned hospitality and wine industry professional, brings more than 15 years of experience in hospitality and more than a decade in the wine sector.<\/p>\n
She has worked with three of Coonawarra\u2019s most esteemed wineries including Hollick Estates and Wynns Coonawarra, honing her expertise in wine sales, events, and customer experience.<\/p>\n
She now leads the events and sales operations at Raidis Estate, a family-owned winery known for its customer-focused and sustainability-driven approach and is thrilled to have been awarded the scholarship.<\/p>\n

The program forms part of South Australia\u2019s strategy to drive innovation and leadership across its wine regions and attract talent into the evolving wine and tourism industries.<\/p>\n
Dr David Jaud, Program Director of Wine Business at Adelaide Business School, the University of Adelaide, said this incredible opportunity would bring together talented individuals from diverse backgrounds and wine regions across South Australia.<\/p>\n
