Applications are now open for the prestigious award program which includes nine business and tourism categories, two individual categories and an overall Business of the Year category.<\/p>\n
The categories and criteria are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n Manufacturing, Trades or Construction Business<\/strong><\/p>\n Open to all manufacturing, trade and construction businesses.<\/p>\n Large Retail or Service Business<\/strong><\/p>\n Open to all retail or service providers with 20 or more employees.<\/p>\n Primary Industry<\/strong><\/p>\n Open to all industry, such as mining, agriculture, or forestry.<\/p>\n Tourism \u2013 Hospitality and Accommodation<\/strong><\/p>\n Open to any business that provides food, beverage or accommodation.<\/p>\n Tourism Event, Festival or tourist attraction<\/strong><\/p>\n Open to all events and festivals, tourism products and\/or service.<\/p>\n Micro Business<\/strong><\/p>\n Open to all businesses with less than 6 employees.<\/p>\n Small Business<\/strong><\/p>\n Open to any business with 6 – 20 employees.<\/p>\n Employee of the Year<\/strong><\/p>\n Open to all employees who demonstrate high levels of achievement in the workplace.<\/p>\n Young Achiever of the Year<\/strong><\/p>\n Open to all young people up to and including 25 years of age who have excelled in their chosen career.<\/p>\n Health and Wellbeing<\/strong><\/p>\n Open to businesses that demonstrate and implement a high standard of workplace health and wellbeing initiatives.<\/p>\n
