THE recent Mount Gambier High School Dance Showcase \u2018Unspoken\u2019 held at the Sir Robert Helpmann Theatre was a spectacular celebration of talent, creativity, and community spirit.<\/p>\n
The showcase held last month across two scheduled shows, featuring outstanding performances from students from Year 9 to 12, many of whom took to the stage for the very first time.<\/p>\n
With an audience of 192 community members attending the evening show and enthusiastic support from Year 7 and 8 students during the matinee, the dance program\u2019s popularity and impact continues to grow.<\/p>\n
The event highlighted not only the impressive skills of the senior dancers but also the inspiration and encouragement flowing between juniors and seniors alike.<\/p>\n
Dance teacher Kim Cella praised the students\u2019 achievements.<\/p>\n
“It was incredible to witness our students\u2019 growth and confidence on stage, especially those performing for the first time,\u201d Mrs Cella said. \u201cThe respect and support shared across all year levels truly embodies the spirit of our dance community. Every performance was a testament to their dedication and passion, and I couldn\u2019t be prouder of the hard work they\u2019ve put in.”<\/p>\n
