A GLOOMY forecast for last week\u2019s golf kept \u2018fair weather\u2019 ladies away from the Lucindale Country Club however the 11 ladies and eight male visitors enjoyed the fresh air and post golf, the warmth of the clubhouse.<\/p>\n
The Seears family, from Boonderoo Pastoral Co, generously sponsored the ladies July Monthly Medal woth Pearl providing thoughtful, fabulous prizes.<\/p>\n
It was also the 1st Round of the Carracher & Malpas-Gilkes events.<\/p>\n
Leanne Graetz took out the Monthly Medal and was the A Grade nett winner on 72, the only golfer who played to their handicap.<\/p>\n
Naturally talented, Leanne also won the NTP on the 12th hole.<\/p>\n
Jacki Baker was gross winner with 91 off the stick as well as A Grade nett runner up on 73 and NTP on the 3rd hole.<\/p>\n
Putting queen Karena Higgins won the A Grade putting competition with merely 26 putts, a great achievement considering the fast greens and windy conditions.<\/p>\n
B Grade nett winner was ladies captain Fionna McInnes with 76 on a countback from Rosie Legoe.<\/p>\n
Kerry Gilkes won B Grade putting with only 30 putts and was also NTP on the 16th hole.<\/p>\n
Lucindale Country Club members are now looking forward to hosting their annual 3-Day Golf Tournament from Friday to Sunday this week, proudly sponsored by Rabobank and Wise Farm Equipment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
