A Naracoorte man has returned home from holiday with more than just a tan after discovering he scored $900,000 in a recent Saturday X Lotto draw.<\/p>\n
The successful South Australian held one of the seven division one winning entries nationally in Saturday X Lotto draw 4589, drawn 12 July 2025. Each division one entry pocketed $919,024.03.<\/p>\n
As the winning entry wasn\u2019t registered to The Lott Members Club, officials from The Lott had no way of contacting the ticketholder and had to wait for him to check his ticket and come forward.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not bad today!\u201d he laughed while speaking to an official from The Lott.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou wouldn\u2019t believe it, the day after the draw, we went on holiday, so the ticket was sitting in my car for a whole two weeks until we got home.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhile we were away, my wife said, \u2018Wow. Someone won Saturday X Lotto in Naracoorte\u2019. I joked and said, \u2018It could be me, I have an unregistered ticket at home!\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t even think twice about it. I honestly was just joking. I never would have thought it was actually me!<\/p>\n
\u201cFinally, I checked the ticket when we got home, and I was blown away.<\/p>\n
\u201cI didn\u2019t sleep at all that night!\u201d<\/p>\n
With a $900,000 windfall heading his way, the happy winner said he\u2019s looking forward to a laid-back retirement, a tasty treat, and another getaway.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s the best news ever. We\u2019ll be able to retire a little earlier than we thought,\u201d he said<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ll have a nice quiet meal to celebrate, and we might just book another holiday now!\u201d<\/p>\n
The winning entry was purchased from Plaza Kiosk, Kiosk 1, Kincraig Plaza Shopping Centre, 26 Robertson Street, Naracoorte.<\/p>\n
Plaza Kiosk owner Rachel Anderson said she was thrilled her outlet had sold its first division one winning entry since taking over ownership five years ago.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was so happy and excited when I first heard we had sold a winning division one ticket. I couldn\u2019t stop reading the email!\u201d she laughed.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur outlet has been celebrating with huge decorations. We\u2019ve been dishing out lollies and chocolates for everyone!<\/p>\n
\u201cThe most exciting part is that this is our first-ever division one win. I\u2019ve owned the outlet for five years, so I\u2019m thrilled.<\/p>\n

The winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 4589 on 12 July 2025 were 36, 9, 37, 35, 23 and 29, while the supplementary numbers were 20 and 31.<\/p>\n
Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4589 \u2013 three each in Victoria and Western Australia, and one in South Australia.<\/p>\n
