WATTLE Range Council is excited to announce the return of the Dogs\u2019 Breakfast at War Memorial Park in Penola on Sunday, October 12, from 10am to 1pm.<\/p>\n
The annual Dog\u2019s Breakfast was launched last year at the Millicent dog park and is supported by funding from the Dog and Cat Management Board.<\/p>\n
The event aims to promote responsible pet ownership and fostering community connections within the Wattle Range area.<\/p>\n
Wattle Range Council\u2019s director development services Emma Clay said the program was a fantastic opportunity to meet your neighbours and their furry friends.<\/p>\n
\u201cFollowing the overwhelming success of last year\u2019s breakfast event, Council is excited to bring it back this year,\u201d Ms Clay said.<\/p>\n
The event will also coincide with Penola\u2019s Woof & Wine Festival on the Saturday, offering a fun way to finish up the school holidays.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis year\u2019s program will feature expert advice and demonstrations from Penola, Naracoorte and Casterton Veterinary Centres, along with Council\u2019s General Inspectors, offering tips and tricks to help enrich your pet\u2019s life,\u201d MsClay said.<\/p>\n
Attendees are invited to join the popular Paws Parade, have professional portraits taken of their dogs and bring their puppies to participate in an on-site puppy school.<\/p>\n
In addition, there will be plenty of prizes and vouchers to be won, as well as free hotdogs and hot drinks provided to the first 100 guests on the day.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe park will be filled with a variety of dog-related stalls, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere,\u201d Ms Clay said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe encourage all attendees to bring a picnic blanket, relax, and enjoy a morning surrounded by wagging tails and friendly faces.\u201d<\/p>\n
