The final home-and-away round in the Limestone Coast Football League<\/a> and the opening week of finals in the KNTFL and Mid South Eastern Football League headline a big weekend of local footy<\/a> across the South East.<\/p>\n

Limestone Coast: Millicent hosts South Gambier in top-two showdown<\/h3>\n

Round 19 shapes as a decisive weekend with results set to shuffle the five. League leaders Millicent face long-time rivals South Gambier in a clash that could decide top spot.<\/p>\n

SANFL South East\u2019s Heath Simms believes the Saints\u2019 home edge will matter.
\u201cIt\u2019s always hard to win down at Millicent. South just don\u2019t seem to get the job done there,\u201d Simms said. \u201cI\u2019m tipping Millicent to get the game there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Casterton Sandford meet East Gambier in a virtual elimination. Simms expects the Cats to prevail with \u201ctoo much to play for\u201d. Penola host West Gambier and are tipped at home, although percentage is likely to keep the Eagles outside the five despite any upset.<\/p>\n

Teams and Fixtures \u2013 Times Footy<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

KNTFL: Keith eyes Lucindale in qualifying final<\/h3>\n

Finals begin with Keith hosting Lucindale in Saturday\u2019s qualifying final. The Crows enjoy a home final, but the Roos carry depth and balance.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith all the good boys in the Lucindale team, they\u2019ll be able to stop the superstars of Keith,\u201d Simms said. \u201cBut I\u2019ll be tipping Keith to get the win and go on to play Kingston in the second semi-final.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mundulla and Kybybolite square off in the elimination final after meeting last week, when Mundulla won by nine goals. Even with Kybybolite back at home, Simms is sticking with the perennial finalists to advance.<\/p>\n

Mid South East: Port MacDonnell faces Tantanoola in elimination final<\/h3>\n

At Nangwarry, Port MacDonnell take on Tantanoola in an elimination final. The Tigers have match-winners in Sam Willis, Cade Kelly and Jack Doar, but Simms feels the Demons\u2019 timing is right.
\u201cPort Mac are coming good at the right time of the year,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m tipping Port Mac to get the job done and progress into the finals.\u201d<\/p>\n

The league also celebrated a milestone last week, with Hatherleigh spearhead Fraser Bradley reaching 100 goals for the season, the first Mid South East player to do so in many years.<\/p>\n

With finals places and double chances on the line across all three competitions, Saturday\u2019s results will set the tone for September.<\/p>\n
