THE Mount Gambier Softball League is thrilled to launch another action-packed season of competition.<\/p>\n
This year marks an exciting milestone as the league expands to seven teams.<\/p>\n
The season will officially get underway with the opening Friday night match on October 10 at 6pm, promising a great showcase of talent to kick off the fixture.<\/p>\n
In preparation for the season, the league held its annual pre-season working bee in late September.<\/p>\n
Thanks to the efforts of those dedicated volunteers, the diamonds at Blue Lake Sports Park are now in top condition and ready for game time.<\/p>\n
One of the highlights on the calendar will be our annual Charity Round on Thursday, November 14 at 6pm, where this year\u2019s fundraising efforts will proudly support the Mount Gambier Support Group of the Royal Flying Doctor Service.<\/p>\n
This event is always a fantastic opportunity for the community to come together both on and off the diamond.<\/p>\n
The league also looks forward to once again sending representative teams to both the Adelaide Country Championships and the Berri Masters.<\/p>\n
These events not only showcase the skill of local players, but also give smaller rural leagues the chance to make their mark on the state stage.<\/p>\n
As the season unfolds, officials are eager to see how the season will play out and which teams will make it to the big dance.<\/p>\n
