WATTLE Range Council, in partnership with local businesses and service providers, are proud to present the 2025 Ageing Well Expo, a vibrant community event dedicated to helping older adults lead healthier, more active, and fulfilling lives.<\/p>\n
Held at the Millicent Civic and Arts Centre on Tuesday, November 12, the Expo will showcase a diverse range of services, resources, and activities that promote positive ageing, health, and wellbeing.<\/p>\n
Wattle Range Council director of development services Emma Clay said whether you’re attending for yourself, a friend, or a family member, the Expo was a great opportunity to chat with stallholders, and explore practical ways to stay healthy, independent, and connected as you get older.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis will be a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for people of all abilities to explore what\u2019s next at a pace that feels right for them,\u201d Ms Clay said.<\/p>\n
The free event will bring together more than 20 stallholders, each offering a range of information, services, and products to support healthy ageing.<\/p>\n
Attendees can look forward to engaging keynote speakers such as Dementia SA, Community Transport SA and Aged Rights Advocacy Service who will share expert insights and practical tips for living well later in life.<\/p>\n
There will also be interactive activities designed to encourage fun, connection, and community spirit. For those seeking support or simply a confidential chat, the Lifeline Connect Van will be on site, offering mental health support throughout the day.<\/p>\n
“Whether you’re planning for the future or looking to enhance your current lifestyle, the 2025 Ageing Well Expo is your opportunity to connect, learn, and be inspired,\u201d Ms Clay said.<\/p>\n
The Ageing Well Expo is an initiative of council\u2019s Celebrate Seniors Program which now runs all year round.<\/p>\n
It will also provide an opportunity for attendees to talk about and provide feedback on the draft Wattle Range Disability Access Inclusion Plan which is now out for community consultation.<\/p>\n
