A huge coup for the OneFortyOne Pioneers with the signing of talented guard Gracie Champion.<\/p>\n
The 24-year-old has been playing in the NBL1 North for the South West Metro Pirates, taking out the club\u2019s Players\u2019 Player of the Year this season after an outstanding on court performance that saw her average 18.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.<\/p>\n
Champion\u2019s consistency and leadership have been the hallmarks of her career, which began in 2016 with the Brisbane Capitals.<\/p>\n
Over the years, she\u2019s developed into one of the North Conference\u2019s most reliable perimeter players \u2014 combining scoring punch with playmaking ability and defensive presence.<\/p>\n
Head coach Matt Sutton, who will again lead the OneFortyOne Pioneers in 2026, said Champion\u2019s addition will bring valuable experience and competitiveness to the roster.<\/p>\n
