{"id":16493,"date":"2025-11-10T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-11-09T17:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/mtgambiertimes\/?p=16493"},"modified":"2025-11-05T21:49:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-05T10:49:08","slug":"business-opportunity-in-library","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/mtgambiertimes\/news\/business-opportunity-in-library\/","title":{"rendered":"Business opportunity in library"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THE City of Mount Gambier is inviting expressions of interest from suitably experienced individuals, businesses, or franchises to operate the caf\u00e9 located within the Mount Gambier Library at 6 Watson Terrace.<\/p>\n<p>The successful applicant will be responsible for equipping and operating the caf\u00e9, providing a welcoming and vibrant space for library visitors and the wider community.<\/p>\n<p>Acting manager library and community development Sally Mann said the caf\u00e9 presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the library\u2019s dynamic and inclusive environment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe caf\u00e9 space has the potential to become a social hub within the library, enhancing the visitor experience and supporting community connection,\u201d Ms Mann said. \u201cWe\u2019re looking for an operator who shares our vision for a warm, accessible, and community-focused space.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Interested parties are encouraged to review the \u2018Library Caf\u00e9 &#8211; Request for Expressions of Interest to Occupy and Operate\u2019 document available on council\u2019s website at www.mountgambier.sa.gov.au\/business\/procurement<\/p>\n<p>Submissions must include a financial proposal and address the criteria outlined in the documentation.
