THE Gambier City Ladies Probus Club recently held its final meeting for the year at the Mt Gambier Bowls Club, which included a Christmas lunch provided by the members of the Mt Gambier Bowls Club.<\/p>\n
Two new members were inducted at this meeting – Lorraine Robinson and Rae Whitehead were inducted by President Gloria Lennon and nominated by Jan Hellyer.<\/p>\n
Gloria was again in the spotlight when she was awarded life membership.<\/p>\n
Gloria has more than 20 years of service and devotion to promote and bring fun, friendship and fellowship to the Probus Club.<\/p>\n
Since 2006 she has been a member of the management committee undertaking many roles including Vice President, President and Activities Coordinator and has also actively ensured the club has enjoyed lots of activities and always been in the background doing tasks no one knows about.<\/p>\n
The Gambier City Probus Club welcomes new members who may be interested in enjoying guest speakers, lunches, organised visits and events.<\/p>\n
The members meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Mt Gambier Bowls Club from 10am.<\/p>\n
