WATTLE Range Council is encouraging local community, sport, and recreation groups to apply for the second round of its Community Financial Assistance Grants before applications close on January 5 next year.<\/p>\n
Wattle Range Mayor Des Noll said these grants help build a vibrant community by supporting services, events, and local clubs.<\/p>\n
Local groups are encouraged to consider how a small project or purchase could make a big difference.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhether it\u2019s a laptop for a community group or upgrading equipment for the next sporting season,\u201d Mayor Noll said. \u201cThis funding could help sustain our grassroots groups and the many volunteers that support them.\u201d<\/p>\n
Each year, council allocates around $55,000 to support clubs and volunteer organisations across Wattle Range. Grants of up to $2000, offered on a dollar-for-dollar basis are available across two funding categories:<\/p>\n
The Community Financial Assistance Grants are available to support community services, events, and initiatives.<\/p>\n
Whereas the Sport & Recreation Financial Assistance Grants support local organisations looking to develop sport and recreation facilities, programs, and events.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe invite all eligible organisations to apply and strengthen the future of the Wattle Range community,\u201d Mayor Noll said.<\/p>\n
Applications close Monday, January 5, 2026.<\/p>\n
