MOUNT Gambier High School has congratulated its Class of 2025 following the release of impressive SACE and ATAR results, led by Dux Annapurna Anbu with an ATAR of 96.05.<\/p>\n
Annapurna was closely followed by Nikki Wagener (94.50) and Callum McIntyre-Gregory (92.15), with other high-achieving students including Tully Lindner (90.50), Sebastian Ricketts (90.30) and Caitlin Hitchon (90.00).<\/p>\n
Head of Senior Years Samantha Brown praised Annapurna\u2019s achievement, saying it reflected \u201cher perseverance, discipline and commitment to achieving her very best\u201d. Annapurna plans to take a gap year in 2026 before pursuing a career in medicine.<\/p>\n
Miss Brown congratulated the entire Class of 2025 on reaching this important milestone and acknowledged their strong performance across all aspects of SACE completion.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis year our students demonstrated excellence across a diverse range of pathways, including vocational education and training, academic studies, apprenticeships, traineeships and full-time employment,\u201d she said. \u201cThere are many individual success stories of personal growth and achievement that underpin these results.\u201d<\/p>\n
The school recorded a 20 per cent increase in the number of A grades achieved, with 21 per cent of eligible students attaining an ATAR above 80. In addition, 38 students completed VET qualifications alongside their SACE studies, 10 students completed Certificate III qualifications, and 5 students gained full-time apprenticeships.<\/p>\n
Miss Brown also offered reassurance to students who may not have achieved the results they hoped for, reminding them that an ATAR does not define their worth or future potential.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are multiple pathways and opportunities available for further study and employment,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Year 11\/12 Learning and Engagement Leader Skye Biddle said she was extremely proud of the cohort\u2019s achievements.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am thrilled with what these results reflect, the determination, effort and commitment of our students in achieving their personal best, regardless of the pathway they have chosen,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Mrs Biddle also noted the results highlight the diverse ambitions and talents within the cohort, as well as the strong support provided by the school community. This was made possible using alternative options such as university studies, modified subjects and tailored learning.<\/p>\n
