This special event offers the chance to gently interact with a variety of animals and learn in an exciting and engaging way.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The event will be taking place:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Monday 20 April 2026, 10:00am-12:00pm<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Port MacDonnell Community Complex, 5-7 Charles Street Port MacDonnell<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Free with no bookings required.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Executive Officer Gary Button is pleased that Council can provide this opportunity for families in the district.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a wonderful event for animal lovers of all ages,\u201d Mr Button said. \u201cImportantly, it shows the necessity of spaces like the Community Complex that foster learning and connection.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On the day, there will also be an animal badge-making activity inside the Community Complex to keep the fun going, and a selection of books and library materials themed around animals ready for borrowing.<\/p>\n<p>The Community Complex is open from 9am to 5pm on weekdays and 11am to 3pm on weekends throughout the April school holidays.
