A SMALLER field than usual of 31 ladies participated in a stableford event, generously sponsored by Gail Stephenson, at the Mount Gambier Golf Club.<\/p>\n
In perfect weather conditions, with the course looking immaculate, once again Trudy Johnson (Handicap 16) continued on her very good form recording 41 points to take out first placing in Division 1.<\/p>\n
Trudi\u2019s great score comprised front nine 22 points, back nine 19 points = 41 points.<\/p>\n
She registered eight pars and a genuine 84 off the stick.<\/p>\n
Long standing member Heather Barry (Handicap 19) took out second placing with two under her handicap.<\/p>\n
Heather compiled game consisted of 18\/20 =38 points, plus six three pointers.<\/p>\n
Division 2 winner was Lizzie Clements (Handicap 27) with a nice score of 23\/16=39 points. Lizzie had the unusual score of five four pointers and also included six pars.<\/p>\n
Newcomer to the club, Mary Jane Smith (Handicap 38), showed a new course was no obstacle, registering 37 points (23\/14=37).<\/p>\n
Mary Jane\u2019s 23 points on the front nine contributed to her great score she also had six three pointers.<\/p>\n
Five balls were given out to Jeannette Braun, Faye Mainwaring, Maxine McGregor, Yvonne Shirley and Kate McCormick in the ball rundown.<\/p>\n
The winners of the 2nd Shots went to \u2013 A Grade – Jennifer Van Rijthoven, B Grade \u2013 Vicki Clark and C Grade \u2013 Sue McPherson.<\/p>\n
The Pro Shot on the 8th Par 3 Hole was won by Lizzie Clements.APRIL 25 RESULTS<\/p>\n

Being Anzac Day, hit-off times commenced at 12 o\u2019clock and 51 Pairs took advantage of the lovely weather with the course in great condition.<\/p>\n
The ladies didn\u2019t feature in the winning circle but Trudy Jonson won the Pro Shot on the 8th, Par 3 Hole.<\/p>\n
