LARA McGregor\u2019s netball journey began at Hatherleigh in 2011 at just eight years old, where she quickly made an impression with her natural talent and determination and she is now set to mark her 150th appearance as an Eagle this weekend.<\/p>\n
Her dedication and natural ability saw her rise rapidly through the junior grades at an impressive pace, debuting in the Under 17 side at just 13 years old while still eligible for Under 15s.<\/p>\n
By the age of 15, Lara had stepped on to the senior stage in A Grade, highlighting her skill, talent and passion for the game.<\/p>\n
Lara\u2019s junior netball career was incredibly impressive. She was a consistent performer across all grades and proudly represented at Reginal level in both the 2013 U13 team, which reached the semi finals, and the 2016 U17 side.<\/p>\n
Her individual achievements in Juniors speak volumes, she was recognised with multiple club Best and Fairest awards –<\/p>\n

In 2018, Lara capped off her junior career in remarkable fashion, taking out the Mid South East Netball Association U17 Best & Fairest, along with the Junior Most Consistent Award, polling in all 16 out of 16 games \u2014 a true testament to her consistency and impact.<\/p>\n
Transitioning seamlessly into senior netball, Lara made an immediate impression:<\/p>\n

\u2022 2025 Players\u2019 Player Award<\/p>\n
Predominantly playing in goal defence and wing defence, Lara is known as a tenacious and disciplined defender.<\/p>\n
Her ability to read the play, take crucial intercepts, and apply relentless pressure makes her one of the competition\u2019s most reliable and respected players.<\/p>\n
Week in, week out, she gives everything for her team \u2014 never backing down and always leading by example.<\/p>\n
