A heavy course was faced by 30 Ladies at the Mount Gambier Golf Club last Wednesday, teeing off in the sponsored Hudson Roofing & Plumbing stableford event.<\/p>\n
Playing two shots below her Handicap (19) captain Bernie Jennings took the honours in Division 1 with 38 Points.<\/p>\n
Bernie had 90 off the stick, comprising of a split of 20\/18=38 Points.<\/p>\n
Aiding Bernie\u2019s score was a birdie on the Par 3, 8th Hole earning four points, plus carding three pars as well.<\/p>\n
Often mentioned Helen Heaver (Handicap 20) took out second placing, winning on a countback from Jan Shanahan.<\/p>\n
Helen\u2019s split for the two nines was 16\/18=34 points and included in her score were six three pointers.<\/p>\n
Division 2 winner was Kate McCormick (Handicap 27) with 36 points, comprising of 19\/17=36 points, earning four points on the 12th Par 4 Hole and adding six three pointers to her scorecard.<\/p>\n
Long time member Marie Douglas (Handicap 27) won second placing with 17\/18=35 points.<\/p>\n
Marie\u2019s consistency was the key component in her game recording five three pointers.<\/p>\n
Seven balls were given out to Jan Shanahan 34 points down to Deb Fowler 31 points on a countback.<\/p>\n
The speciality prizes were won by A Grade \u2013 Helen Heaver, B Grade \u2013 Deb Fowler and C Grade Sue Ryan.<\/p>\n
NTP on the Par 3 , 8th Hole went to Jennifer Van Rijthoven.<\/p>\n

Second placing went to Jennifer Van Rijthoven (Handicap 11) with 2 down. Jennifer\u2019s split for the day was Square (Front Nine) and 2 down (Back Nine).<\/p>\n
