Castec Rural Pioneers are excited to announce the signing of 24-year-old, 203cm Power Forward, Chris Seeley from the United States.<\/p>\n
Seeley played College basketball for the University of Utah, Fresno State University and California State University Dominguez Hill over five years from 2016.<\/p>\n
In 2022\/23 Seeley played professionally in Kosovo where he averaged 16 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists over 10 games.<\/p>\n
Seeley is another important signing for the Pioneers and is the culmination of extensive research by head coach Richard Hill.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s talented, athletic and fits the profile of our young fresh and ambitious team,\u201d Hill said.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt 6\u20198\u201d with multi skills he will fit perfectly into our system. \u201cI am looking forward to working with Chris to help him achieve his goals whilst helping us compete in what is shaping up as a very competitive NBL1 South.\u201d<\/p>\n
Seeley is expected to arrive in Mount Gambier later this month in readiness for the Pioneers first pre-season games.<\/p>\n
The Castec Rural Pioneers and the OneFortyOne Pioneers will commence their 2022 NBL1 South campaigns with a double header on the road on April 1 & 2, before playing their first home game at Wulanda on Friday, April 14.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
