Coonawarra Running Festival returns this November<\/h2>\n

Registrations are now open for the 2023 Coonawarra Running Festival which will be held on Saturday, November 11. The day will include a variety of events including 1km, 5km, 10km and 21km running races.<\/p>\n

The Wobbly Winery Walk event is for the less serious participants consisting of a 6km walk through six cellar door outlets and a few challenges along the way. There is also a fun race for keen toddlers.<\/p>\n

All the action will be held in and around the Coonawarra Park which will have a festive atmosphere for the day including music and a variety of food to purchase, local wines and cocktails, coffee vans and market stalls in readiness for Christmas shopping. There will be a show \u2018n\u2019 shine vehicle exhibition – it attracted more than 50 vehicles last year in its inaugural year.<\/p>\n

Transport is available at a minimal cost \u2013 information will released on Facebook or you can message organisers.<\/p>\n

All funds raised from the event will be held in trust by Breakthrough Research Foundation to raise awareness and provide resources in the mental health space for the local community.<\/p>\n

The day will be a fun filled day but also showcasing mental health resources and aiming to help dismiss the stigma of mental health. The event will also include a respectful observance of Remembrance Day at 11am.<\/p>\n
