{"id":4036,"date":"2023-06-21T05:29:19","date_gmt":"2023-06-21T05:29:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/mtgambiertimes\/?p=4036"},"modified":"2023-11-05T05:29:56","modified_gmt":"2023-11-05T05:29:56","slug":"business-awards-return","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/mtgambiertimes\/news\/business-awards-return\/","title":{"rendered":"Business awards return"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Mount Gambier Chamber of Commerce and Women In Business and Regional Development join forces<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>They have been absent from our calendar for a few years now but 2023 will see the return of a business awards scheme \u2013 the Mount Gambier Chamber of Commerce (some board members &#038; staff pictured top right) and Women In Business and Regional Development joining forces to reimagine the categories and criteria to freshen up the concept.<\/p>\n<p>Women in Business and Regional Development chair Jacinta Jones (pictured below right) said the new look awards scheme sat comfortably within the framework of both organisations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cClose to the hearts of both organisations is the mission to champion and celebrate local businesses and to build the strength and profile of our community on a local, state and national level,\u201d Mrs Jones said. \u201cThe Business Awards 2023 are an awards program that recognises the significant contributions made by our business community to our region\u2019s culture, as well as social and economic growth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the business community, it is a chance to celebrate one another\u2019s achievements.
