Marking a decade of success, the Scavenger Hunt celebrates the delivery of books to children in the Glenelg Shire through Dolly Parton\u2019s Imagination Library. Utilising the GooseChase mobile app, the Scavenger Hunt will inspire teams to venture and explore their community in a fun and interactive way!<\/p>\n
Co-opted United Way Glenelg board member, and event organiser Sarah Tolliday said the Scavenger Hunt will be a great way for everyone in the community, regardless of age, to get involved.<\/p>\n
\u201cCommunity members, friends, families, and work colleagues, can join this all-ages team scavenger hunt event using their smartphones with exciting challenges or missions dropping each week,\u201d Mrs Tolliday said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Scavenger Hunt promises plenty of entertainment. From photo quests to lip-syncing video recordings, and location hunts to brain teasers \u2013 every mission will test your wit, creativity, and community spirit. Earn points for each task completed and climb the real-time leaderboard for a chance to win fabulous prizes along the way.\u201d<\/p>\n
Local ceramist Angela Ryks has crafted a Dolly Parton vase, valued at $150 on what promises to be the ultimate corporate prize, awarded to the victorious team, with extra bonus mission prizes up for grabs each week.<\/p>\n

Portland Aluminium has steadfastly supported the Imagination Library in the Glenelg Shire since its inception in 2013, now in its tenth year. Close to 44,000 books have found their way into the homes of local children, enhancing their literary journeys.<\/p>\n
