Limestone Coast Landscape Board education coordinator Vanessa Freebairn encourages all families to attend this day out in nature. \u201cThere are so many wonderful activities on offer at this event,\u201d she said. \u201cWith the ClimateWatch Trail being launched families are encourage to take a guided tour of the trail and learn how to use the ClimateWatch app to record local species for future visits to the park.\u201d Council encourages locals and visitors alike to explore our unique natural environment.<\/p>\n<p>City of Mount Gambier environmental sustainability officer Aaron Izzard said the trail represents a fantastic means to engage with nature, and observe changes in our local species over time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNature is fascinating, and the tools developed for the trail will assist with learning more about our amazing local flora,\u201c he said.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2023\/11\/94-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"415\" height=\"311\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4849\" srcset=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2023\/11\/94-7.jpg 415w, https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/26\/2023\/11\/94-7-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 415px) 100vw, 415px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>With a free sausage sizzle or the opportunity to bring you own picnic lunch on the day, the Limestone Coast Landscape Board along with City of Mt Gambier are looking forward to providing this free event for the Limestone Coast community to enjoy.
