The consultant team from MasterPlan and Outerspace Landscape Architects will be on hand during May this year facilitating two dropin sessions where the community will be walked through the plan and encouraged to provide feedback.<\/p>\n<p>The Inner Townships Master Plan will reflect amenity aspirations that are important to each inner community including proposed future landscaping, shared use paths, signage, play spaces and lighting.<\/p>\n<p>The plan aims to create places and spaces that are accessible, connected, inviting and attractive whilst also reflecting the diverse character of each township with both short-term and generational aspirations.<\/p>\n<p>District Council of Grant chief executive officer Darryl Whicker said there has been extensive work undertaken since the consultant team last visited the district and engaged with the community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince the public consultation in December 2022, the consultant team has been working closely with council staff to collate the community\u2019s feedback and create a draft Master Plan,\u201d Mr Whicker said. \u201cCouncil is excited to reach the stage where the draft Master Plan can be revealed for further community input.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cResidents living and working within our inner townships are again encouraged to participate in the upcoming community drop-in sessions and provide their comments and feedback.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Community members in the following townships are invited to two community drop-in sessions which will be facilitated by the consultant team on Wednesday, May 3, at Casadio Park (134-136 Bay Road, Moorak)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Allendale East<br \/>\n\u2022 Caveton<br \/>\n\u2022 Compton<br \/>\n\u2022 Glenburnie<br \/>\n\u2022 Kongorong<br \/>\n\u2022 Mil-Lel<br \/>\n\u2022 Moorak<br \/>\n\u2022 Mount Schank<br \/>\n\u2022 OB Flat<br \/>\n\u2022 Suttontown<br \/>\n\u2022 Tarpeena<br \/>\n\u2022 Worrolong<br \/>\n\u2022 Wye<br \/>\n\u2022 Yahl<\/p>\n<p><strong>SESSIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Session one: 1pm \u2013 5pm<br \/>\n\u2022 Session two: 6pm \u2013 8.30pm<\/p>\n<p>District Council of Grant Mayor Kylie Boston reiterated how important the Inner Townships Master Plan is to the district.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCouncil are developing this Master Plan to guide the future of our inner township communities.
