Eight-year-old student Edie Sunderland, from Millicent\u2019s Newbery Park Primary School, has designed one of the four successful artworks set to appear on Member for Barker Tony Pasin\u2019s 2023 Christmas cards.<\/p>\n
The 82,000 cards sent out by the Federal MP will feature Edie and three other students\u2019 designs after hundreds of entries were received from school students across the electorate.<\/p>\n
Barker primary school students were invited to submit artwork that represented Christmas in their local region.<\/p>\n
Mr Pasin recently visited Edie to congratulate her and present her with a prize.<\/p>\n
\u201cCongratulations to all students who took the time to create artwork and enter the competition,\u201d Mr Pasin said. \u201cThere were hundreds of entries, and it was heartwarming to see the excitement for Christmas and the pride for their region reflected in the children\u2019s work.<\/p>\n
